Acceptance criteria: • A prerequisite is that the user has selected a single UI element • As per the UX industry standard keyboard combinations will be used to copy and paste the UI element • The element may be pasted on the same page or on a different page • The element may be pasted multiple times until the user copies another element at which time only the new element can be pasted • When copying an element the element itself, its property settings and defined actions will be copied. The user expects everything to be copied. He can then make changes to the pasted element as needed. Preparations Setup/Configuration steps (if necessary) An user had signed up to Project Norman with the name, email address and password User Logon Information/ Roles Navigation path to reach the application (i.e. URL) Test Steps/Procedures 1. Verify an user be able to select a single UI element - Create a project with at least two pages. Click on the project to open it. - On Prototype pages view, click thumbnail of the page to go to UI composer. - In the left panel, select a UI element. - Drag and drop the element onto the canvas. 2. Verify that the user shall be able to use keyboard combinations will be used to copy and paste the UI element on canvas - Open a page in prototype, go to UI Elements panel - Select the UI element. - Use shortcat command Ctrl+C (on Windows) and Cmd+C (on Mac) to copy UI element - Use shortcat command Ctrl+V (on Windows) and Cmd+V (on Mac) to paste UI elemnt onto canvas - Paste the copied control onto the canvas - Repeat the step with other UI controls. 3. Verify that the user shall be able to paste UI element on a different page - Create a project with at least two pages, Page 1 and Page 2. Click on the project to open it. - Open Page 1 in prototype, drag and drop an UI Element onto the canvas - Select the UI element for copy. - Open Page 2, paste the copied UI element onto the canvas - Repeat the step with other UI controls. 4. Verify that when copying an element the element itself, its property settings and defined actions will be copied. - Open Page 1 in prototype, drag and drop an UI Element onto the canvas. - Select the UI element, preview its properties in the right panel. - Select the UI element for copy. - Open Page 2, paste the copied UI element onto the canvas - Preview the copied element properties in the right panel. - Check that the element properties are the same in Page 1 and Page 2. - Repeat the step with other UI controls.
